Brielle Finer, LICSW, CCTP

Co-Founder & Therapist

My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship. I bring awareness to how identity shapes experience, attuning to the ways queerness, marginalization, and belonging influence our nervous systems. As a white practitioner, I prioritize accountability to the power I hold and the systems we all navigate, approaching therapy with active self-reflection and a commitment to reducing harm.

Working with me, you can expect a warm, trauma-informed space where we move at your pace and stay curious about what your body, boundaries, and relationships are telling us. I focus on relational trauma, attachment wounds, family-of-origin patterns, and identity exploration—often the first places where people learn about safety and where repair can transform lives.

My goal is to help you feel seen, grounded, and supported as you reconnect with your voice, your body, and your relationships. To guide this work, I draw from parts work, narrative therapy, somatic approaches, and attachment-based relational therapy, tailoring each approach to meet you where you are.

I believe therapy is a unique space where we can practice being in relationship with ourselves and others in new, healthier ways. My goal as a therapist is to create a collaborative environment where clients can explore how past experiences shape thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With a background in STEM, I bring a thoughtful, curious approach to this work.  I also understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you come from a space where talking about emotions or mental health wasn’t encouraged.

My work is grounded in an anti-oppressive framework and an awareness of how living in a white supremacist society impacts our wellbeing. As a queer, white, cis woman, I am continually reflecting on my own privilege and positionality, and I strive to approach therapy with humility and openness. I recognize that our mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and that systemic forces play a powerful role in shaping our experiences. To support clients in processing traumas and navigating the world around them, I draw from EMDR, narrative, and relational therapy practices. I am especially passionate about providing trauma-informed care to queer individuals as well as anyone who is looking to better understand how relational and environmental factors impact their lives.
